This is a tough question! I'm not just asking whether your magic gets stronger as your continue. I'm questioning the very notion of doing more than a single trick.
Even if your magic "builds" in the traditional sense of the word, I'd like you to reconsider whether it actually "builds" the sense of wonder. When you fool someone with your first trick, there's a sense of "what the HELL?" that is priceless and completely unexpected (if you approach it right!). You're not doing a "show" for them, it's not an "act", it's just a pure sense of wonder.
THE MOMENT you follow your trick up with a second, you're instantly transformed into an "entertainer". You're performing tricks for their own sake.
