I'd like to share something I've been working on. Magic Modeling Language (MML) is an exciting and universal way magicians can describe the interaction in a magic trick. Effect Maps are part flow-chart, part circuit board, but the real value to us as magicians is a way to abstract away all of the details of a magic trick and focus on the underlying dynamics. The benefit of this is that we can now talk about similarities between seemingly different kinds of tricks, categorize magic into groups based on interaction, look at a magic trick from a birds eye view, optimizing bottlenecks and much much more!
I will be posting more about this along with several examples soon!
